Share on FacebookWe were honoured to welcome the Department of Environment back to our Black Soldier Fly farm to explore future collaboration — including an upcoming programme for World Ozone Day this year.
We were delighted to welcome the Department of Environment (DOE) to our Black Soldier Fly farm for a walkthrough of our operation — from waste intake and larvae rearing to our breeding cages and end products. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our progress and show how Black Soldier Fly larvae can turn agricultural and food waste into high-value animal feed and frass-based organic fertiliser, reducing waste and environmental pollution at the same time.
A key focus of the visit was exploring future collaboration between our farm and the Department of Environment. Together we discussed how our work can support the DOE's environmental and sustainability goals, and we are excited about the possibilities ahead.
We were especially pleased to begin planning an upcoming programme for World Ozone Day this year — an initiative to raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainable practices within our community. We look forward to working hand in hand with the Department of Environment on this meaningful effort.
A big thank you to the Department of Environment team for visiting — we look forward to building a greener, more sustainable future together!
